Is mint a good colour if I don't know whether the baby is a boy or girl?
Yes. Mint is a lovely alternative to traditional pink and blue and works particularly well when buying before baby arrives. It's also an easy colour to coordinate with white and other neutral accessories.

Would this be suitable for baby's first outfit?
Yes. The Newborn size is particularly suitable for a hospital bag or coming home outfit. The smocked detailing makes it feel special for those first photographs while the velour keeps it practical and comfortable for a newborn.

When is a velour sleepsuit most suitable?
We particularly recommend velour for autumn and winter babies or whenever you want a slightly warmer outfit than a lightweight cotton sleepsuit. The enclosed feet and long sleeves give baby good coverage during cooler weather.

What can I coordinate with the mint colour?
White works especially well and picks up the white detailing around the collar. We'd choose white knitted baby booties, a white baby hat or a white knitted cardigan for a coordinated newborn outfit.

Which size should I choose?
Choose baby's usual age size. Newborn is the smallest fit and is the size we'd normally consider for a baby's first outfit. If you're buying a gift and aren't sure of baby's birth size, 1 Month can offer a little more growing room.
