Why choose this knitted pramsuit for cooler outings?

What do the pom poms add?

The faux-fur pom poms make the hood a noticeable part of the outfit and give the pink pramsuit a playful winter finish. We would avoid adding another heavily decorated hat because the hood already provides the focal detail.

Would this work as a first winter outfit?
