Our newborn hats are designed to fit a baby's head of circumference 30-34cm. This is the average size of a newly arrived baby. After birth, a child's head grows extremely quickly, especially in the first few weeks. We strongly advise if your new arrival has been born, please consider buying our follow-on size. However, if you want a hat for a baby that has not yet been born, and that will fit perfectly for those important photos when you leave the hospital our newborn knitted hats are ideal.
